During loading/unloading, the cars are moved over the whole train by outside propulsion systems. The loading platforms (3) of individual wagons (1) have roller beds (4) which project with flexible ends (14), into the transition areas (13) between two wagons. The rollers (5) in the beds extend across the max. track width (6), and are driven in the longitudinal wagon centre (8) via a chain drive (9). In the track area, the rollers have a jacket (7) with a surface structure, which has high friction characteristics. ADVANTAGE - High security for cars, at low additional technical and energy expenditure.
