A glass or plastic tube, filled with mercury and forming part of the ignition circuit or forming part of the fuel system, is ruptured by operation of a solenoid with an apertured rod through which the tube passes. The solenoid is energised if engine starting is attempted without entry of a particular number into a key pad. The wrong number illuminates a red light and the correct number a green light. The glass or plastic tube is contained in a steel or plastic box. |
