High speed gas is generated at a low pressure in the channel 46 to guide the ambient air flow from the opening 56 to the channel 46 around the housing 34, The ambient air speed is accelerated as flows from a convergent part 48 to a throat 52 of the channel 46, mixed with the generated gas to form an expansion fluid, which is fed from a gas exhaust opening 53 to an air bag 16. |
