CONSTITUTION:The character or the line drawing in the inputted picture is extracted as its contour vector, and a shade generating part 201 determines the generating area of a shade pattern by judging whether a contour is to be shaded or not on the basis of its vector component. Then, in the case that picture element data in that area is read in, a pattern generating part 202 generates a designated pattern, and it is outputted after being synthesized with an original picture by a synthesizer 203. |
