<p>PURPOSE: To provide an arrangement possible to weld foil webs continuously without requiring any independent device for advancing them. CONSTITUTION: This is an arrangement for welding plural foil webs, comprising two pairs of coacting cogwheels 10, 11 and 12, 13 which bite and advance the foil webs between them, and a heat source. The heat source is equipped with heating wires 21 and 22 which are placed in the close proximity of the engaging parts of the cogwheels and the ends of which are connected to a heating current source to heat the wires to a temperature above the softening temperature of the foil webs.</p> |
