Sealed application chamber for low or high viscous fluids - has wide stripper elements on rear chamber wall, to feed leaked material directly into return chamber or pump

The chamber has stripper elements (7,8), which project over the application width on both sides. The elements engage sliding on a roller (1), and collect the leakage flow in two points (4,5). The collected material is returned to the return chamber (9), which is formed as a pump. All possible leakage flows, e.g. along the sealing rail (3.1- 3.3), and at the two points, are fed to the rotating roller. A flat chamber acts with the roller, to form a friction pump. Fluid intake is at the point of lowest chamber pressure and fluid discharge is at the point of highest chamber pressure. USE/ADVANTAGE - The chamber is for application of printing inks, paints, glues, etc. Leakage flows are directed towards roller surface.
