The arrangement contains line cameras, a selectively radiating light source and interference filters. The source (2) is arranged on one side of the tube (1) opposite from two line cameras (3a,3b) one above the other with parallel optical axes aligned with an outer edge region of the tube. Interference filters (4a,4b) with transmission regions corresp. to the radiation band of the light sources are arranged in the light paths between the glass tube and the cameras. USE/ADVANTAGE - Enables reliable measurement of quartz glass tubes during heat processing and can be used for large tubes.
