PURPOSE:To make an optical head thin in thickness. CONSTITUTION:The emitted light of a semiconductor laser 11 is transformed into collimator light by a collimator lens 12 and made incident on a concave mirror 18. This incident light is perpendicularly deflected by the concave mirror 18, condensed and made incident on a magneto-optical disk 30. Reflected light from the magneto-optical disk 30 is deflected by the concave mirror 18, collimated and made incident on the lens 12. While condensing this reflected light by the lens 12, one part of it is reflected on glass panels 14 and 15, made incident on photodetectors 21 and 22 and photodetected. The concave mirror 18 is used in place of a conventional rising mirror and objective lens. |
