PURPOSE:To prevent increase in power consumption and also, lowering in the density of recording even when an electrocardiogram signal of a high frequency is inputted. CONSTITUTION:When an electrocardiogram signal is from an input part 1, an electrocardiogram signal history storing part 2 derives positions of the upper limit and the lower limit of a waveform, and recording width in the case its signal waveform is recorded on recording paper of a waveform recorder 6, and stores them as history. In the case a ratio of a peak in which recording width of the electrocardiogram signal exceeds regular recording width becomes above a prescribed value, based on history of recording width of a past electrocardiogram signal stored by the saving part 2, a frequency transcendency deciding part 3 decides that the frequency of the electrocardiogram signal exceeds the prescribed value. In that case, an envelope wave form recording processing part 5 receives information of positions of the upper limit and the lower limit of an electrocardiogram signal waveform from the electrocardiogram signal history storing part 2, outputs those signals as an envelope signal of the electrocardiogram signal to the waveform recorder 6. |
