PURPOSE:To provided a weatherstrip for an automobile which maintains sealing ability between a hollow seal part formed by die molding and a door peripheral edge at a corner part. CONSTITUTION:In a weatherstrip provided with a trim part which is held by a flange on a door opening peripheral edge, and whose sectional surface is of roughly U-shape and a hollow seal part 12 whose one side surface projects to press the door peripheral edge, the trim part at the corner part of the door opening peripheral edge is formed so that the trim part of an extrusion molding body 1A whose seal part 12 on the side surface is cut out may be bent along the corner. Besides, the hollow seal part 22 at the corner part is formed into a roughly same shape as the external shape of the seal part of the extrusion molding body, and extended along the upper edge part and longitudinal edge part of the door opening peripheral edge and offset to the outer peripheral side from the trim part so as to be formed by means of die molding, and a covering part 23 in a rough triangle which covers the cut surface of the seal part on the trim part side surface of the extrusion molding body is formed integratedly with the seal part. |
