PURPOSE:To obtain the sound source device which generates good natural musical instrument timbre and facilitates waveform processing by analyzing waveform data for each fixed frequency and storing the analyzed data, and putting the analyzed data together when a musical sound signal is synthesized. CONSTITUTION:A sound source has an analysis part 1, a storage part 2, an interpolation part 3, a shift part 4, and a synthesis part 5. The analysis part 1 is constituted by connecting 128 band-pass filters in parallel. The sound source device extracts and stores analytic parameters regarding spectra from musical instrument waveform data. When musical sound waveform data for sound generation are generated, the analytic parameters are read out in order and put together. Consequently, the musical sound waveform data having good reproducibility similar to a waveform can be generated. Further, the analytic parameters can freely be adjusted, so the processing of a musical sound is easy. |
