<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a strong odor of mercaptan from remaining in a chamber by adopting an inner box made of high nitrile ABS resin, forming a clear film inside the inner box and filling an insulation material, which uses a specific Freon as a foaming agent, into a spot between the inner box and the outer box. CONSTITUTION:The inner surface of an inner box is coated with an about 200 to 300mu thick constantly dried-state acrylic or urethane clear film, thereby forming a high nitrile ABS resin-made inner box 5. An insulation material 4 is filled into a box-shaped space between the inner box 5 and an outer box 3 where HCFC 123 or HCFC 141b is used as a foaming agent, thereby completing an insulation box member of a refrigerator 1. Since the clear coating 6 is applied to the inner surface of the inner box 5 in this manner, it is difficult for a polymerization and composition agent C12 mercaptan to penetrate. Its action as a barrier prevents a strong odor of mercaptan from remaining in the chamber.
