PURPOSE:To improve the heat conductivity, strength and corrosion resistance of the member of a heat exchanger made of an aluminum alloy and to miniaturize and lighten the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:This is the method for manufacturing a heat exchanger made of an aluminum alloy in which, at the time of manufacturing a heat exchanger made of an aluminum alloy by a brazing method using flux, in the process of cooling a heat exchanger after the completion of brazing heating, the above heat exchanger is held at 400 to 500 deg.C for 10min to 30hr and is thereafter cooled in the temp. range of 200 to <400 deg.C at >=30 deg.C/min cooling rate. |
