Bathtub (1) supporting device, the tub being of the type that has a body (2), the upper portion of which is of generally hollow section bounded by side walls (7-8) and end walls (9-10) terminating in a flat-channelled lip defining an approximately right-angled under-lip (13), said device comprising at least one cradle component for positioning beneath and around said body (13), said component having a body comprising, at opposite ends, connecting means (20) which engage with the right-angled under-lip (7B, 8B) of lips adjoining the opposite walls of the bathtub in such a way as to connect the cradle component to the latter. <IMAGE>
