The system collects grease into a predetermined part of a frying pan. The top (1) of the stove containing the gas burners or electric heater plates (4) hinges to form an inclined plane below the food in the pan (20), and is lockable in position in the base portion of the stove. This can be done by two cylindrical discs (18,19) below the pan and turning in relation to each other, their mating faces (21,22) being at a set angle to the axis of rotation. Alternatively there can be a clamp fitting over the pan edge and in which a stirrup hinges into a position below the pan bottom. ADVANTAGE - Prevents spoiling of food by excess fat.
