PURPOSE:To provide the direct positive silver halide photographic sensitive material stabilized in sensitivity even after storage for a long period and capable of forming an image superior in whiteness. CONSTITUTION:The direct positive photographic sensitive material has on a support a photosensitive layer containing nonprefogged internal latent image type silver halide grains each having a core/shell type structure, and the cores of the silver halide grains are processed with a spectral sensitizing dye and a chemical sensitizer.
