PURPOSE:To provide a device in which the efficiency of an inputting operation necessary for a form setting can be attained, in a document preparing device which operates the form setting by using a form setting screen. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 prepares the layout of a form setting screen including image data such as the standard value of a printing range according to the designated form size of a form setting item, the character pattern according to the designated character size, and the character pattern strings according to the designated line feed amounts, according to the indication of the form setting by a keyboard 2, and displays the form setting screen at the window screen of a display 4. |
