PURPOSE:To allow the picture output device to be connected to an image forming device independently of an interface means by providing a serial interface means and a parallel interface means on the output device. CONSTITUTION:A still video floppy disk device 100 is provided with a parallel interface I/F 109 and a serial interface I/F 110 sending a signal outputted from a magnification processing section 105 into a parallel and a serial signal. Then in the case of connecting the picture output device to a digital copying machine 200 having a fast print speed and provided with a parallel interface 202, the parallel interface 109 is used. Moreover, in the case of connecting the picture output device to a copying machine having a slow print speed and provided with a serial interface, the serial interface 110 is used. Thus, the picture output device is connected to the image forming device independently of the interface means of the image forming device. |
