PURPOSE:To effectively perform the self-recovery to a failure by use of a case in which recovering work is described. CONSTITUTION:Cases are hierarchically classified according to failure symptoms, failures and classes, and a case suitable to a caused failure is selected to perform recovering work. Application priorities are given to the classes, and when the applicable case is present in plural classes, the application priorities are referred to at need. When the application of the case is successful, the application priority of the related class is raised to properly cope with a failure occurring from the same cause. When the failure can not be recovered by the case application, the work is inferred by qualitative inference to recover the failure. When it is successful, the inferred work is registered as the case of a new class. When the case application results in a failure, the application of cases of the same class is avoided to raise the success ratio of case application. |
