The kite is fully steerable. It has two separate sails (A, B) and is steered by a maximum of 4 strings (E). The two sails are joined by a coupling (D) on a preferred axis of rotation (C). The coupling rotates the sails accurately. Each sail has 2 strings controlling it. Steering is achieved by differential rotation of the sails. USE/ADVANTAGE - The kite is designed so that the surfaces of the sails is not deformed and the kite is better controlled, by having two sails and four strings.
