PURPOSE:To provide a multiple path type evaporator with improved heat exchange capability by uniformly distributing a refrigerant to a plurality of tanks. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant circulating through a freezing cycle is reduced in its pressure through an expansion valve and introduced into a centrifugal separator in the state of two phases of gas and liquid. A fluid refrigerant separated by the centrifugal separation is driven to flow out into a fluid refrigerant distribution supply pipe 4 and is uniformly distributed from a refrigerant supply port 4a to each tank 2. Further, gaseous refrigerant in which the fluid refrigerant mixes in is driven to flow out into a gaseous refrigerant distribution supply pipe 5 and is uniformly distributed from a refrigerant supply port 5a to each tank 2. The fluid refrigerant and gaseous refrigerant uniformly distributed to each tank 2 is driven to through a refrigerant passage 6 and adapted to absorb heat for its evaporation. They reach the bottom of an evaporator body 1 and is forced to flow into a tank provided upward and flow out of a flow-out pipe 9 toward a compressor. |
