PURPOSE:To enlarge the power margin of a laser intensity (high level PH and a low level PL) at the time of the overwrite. CONSTITUTION:As for a magneto-optical recording enabling the overwrite in an optical modulation system, when 'a waveform indicating change of the laser intensity' by time is simply rectangular, at the time of writing a mark by the PH, the formation of the mark is continued by lowering the level a little after the start of the formation of the mark by the beam of the PH. Also, the danger of a crosstalk can be decreased. At the time of recording a mark length, a relation between the mark length and a pulse length can be linear. |
