<p>PURPOSE:To control a rise in specific fuel consumption due to a machine manufacturing error and its operating error, by setting the extent of setting temperature to such one that is little more deflected to the light-load side than a fuel consumption cross load spot. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust temperature detector 18 sets the setting temperature, opening or closing an exhaust bypass valve 9, to such one in the light-load side deflecting spot P2 deflected a little more to the light-load side than a fuel consumption curve cross load spot P1 where a supercharging side fuel consumption curve b2 and a non-supercharging side fuel consumption curve b1 are crossed. With this constitution, specific fuel consumption is varied with a rise in load, so that a rise in specific consumption comes to very fewness. Therefore, a rise in specific fuel consumption due to a machine manufacturing error and its operating error is controllable to be so little, thus the specific fuel consumption is yet more improvable.</p> |
