PURPOSE:To copy an original by fitting an auxiliary equipment for exposing an original image, without damaging the features of a compact, light, and inexpensive printer, having an irreducible minimum mechanism, and a simple single function, thereto, as necessary. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic device has a characteristic, as follows. A main body 1 is composed of the lower part frame 7 and the upper part frame 8 connected to the lower part frame 7 so as to be able to open/close, the circumference of the exposing part 51 of the photosensitive body 3 of the electrophotogtraphic mechanisms 3, 5, 11, 12, 14, and 15, is released outside, as an exposing/releasing part 53 by the mutual separation of the upper and lower part frames 8 and 7 when the frame 8 is opened with respect to the frame 7, and an original exposing unit 54 attached/detached to/form the exposing/releasing par 53 is provided in combination. Moreover, an original carrying system 58 and exposing optical systems 64 and 65 exposing the image of the original carried by the carrying system 58 onto the photosensitive body 3, are provided, as well. |
