PURPOSE:To remarkably produce the slaking preventive effect of an aqueous monolithic refractory to be used for lining various steel making vessels such as a converter, ladle and tundish, using a basic material. CONSTITUTION:This aqueous monolithic refractory contains 100 pts.wt. of MgO, 0.5-10 pts.wt. of Al2O3 and 0.5-5 pts.wt. of CaO. CaO and Al2O3 have a structure mainly present in the periclase grain boundary, and a clinker having slaking resistance is used for the refractory. |
