DEVICE FOR SWITCHING EXHAUST GAS FLOW PASSAGE TO TURBOCHARGER

PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a work amount by switching a flow passage for exhaust gas energy from a multicylinder engine having a turbocharger. CONSTITUTION:First exhaust valves 2a-2d and second exhaust valves 3a-3d the opening timings of which are deviated from each other are mounted on the respective cylinders of a multicylinder engine 1. A first exhaust gas flow passage 4 running from the first exhaust valve and a second exhaust gas flow passage 5 running from the second exhaust valve are arranged in piping at a turbo charger 6. A valve released to the open air is located in a flow passage for the second exhaust valve delayed in an opening timing. In operation at the given number of revolutions of an engine or more, exhaust gas is discharged to the open air to reduce an exhaust pressure.
