PURPOSE:To facilitate the working of a refrigerant passage while improving the cooling effect by introducing a refrigerant into a slot section from the coil end through a through hole or a notch part provided diametrically outward from the end of the slotted wedge. CONSTITUTION:A groove-shaped notch 14b is provided on a slotted wedge 6a for retaining a coil 4 in a slot 2 axially from the end 14a while a through hole 14c is provided piercing the notch 14b diametrically from the deepest section whereby a refrigerant ventlating path 14 is built with the notch 14b and the through hole 14c. This facilitates the working of a refrigerant ventilating path while improving the cooling effect in the slot with a free change of the cooling area. |
