PURPOSE:To prevent generation of defective actions and failures and realize downsizing and cost reduction of a device by providing a manual rotating means and an interlock-regulating means. CONSTITUTION:Rotating force by manual operation can be supplied to an agitating roller 12 by using a manual rotating means 15. While the rotating force is supplied from the manual rotating means 15 to the agitating roller 12, an interlocking mechanism to transmit the rotating force of the agitating roller 12 supplied from a driving means 14 to a supplying roller 13 is regulated by an interlocking regulating means so that the rotating force of the agitating roller 12 may not be transmitted to the supplying roller 13. Thus, excessive loads may not be applied to the driving means 14 if only the agitating roller 12 is rotated by operating the manual rotating means 15 before a toner hopper 11 is fitted to the developing device, and the toner hopper 11 is fitted to the developing device after eliminating the sticking condition of the toner. This arrangement prevents generation of defective operations and failures beforehand, and realizes downsizing of the device and cost reduction. |
