<p>PURPOSE:To use a display buffer in order to omit the conversion of the document data into the read and image data when the display range is changed within a display page. CONSTITUTION:A display control means 12 analyzes the display control command inputted from an input device 11 and updates the display information on a display information control table 15. A display image production means 14 refers to the display page information on the table 13 and reads the document date out of a storage 15 to convert them into the page image data as long as a display buffer 16 contains no page image data. Then the page image data are stored in the buffer 16. A display processing means 17 refers to the display range information in the table 13 and outputs the page image data out of the buffer 16 to an output device 18 by an amount equal to the display range.</p> |
