Container comprises a dentifrice comprising anti-plaque amt. of trichlosan and anti-tartar amt. of polyphosphate, in a pump dispenser having a walled dispensing chamber in which the dispensing chamber walls and parts of the dispenser that contact the dentifrice during storage and during dispensing is/are compatible with the trichlosan and polyphosphate in the dentifrice and do(es) not cause excessive loss(es) of anti-plaque and anti-tartar properties of the dentifrice during the storage and dispensing of the container.
