The subject of the present invention is a fixed or ambulatory electrotherapy apparatus parametrisable by microprocessor card. It consists of the combination of a "slave" electrotherapy apparatus (4) provided with a microprocessor card reader (6), and with a "master" apparatus furnished with computerised means allowing the programming of the stimulation parameters, and equipped with a reader/recorder system capable of constructing and recording these parameters on the said microprocessor cards. It is intended for the field of medical electrology and finds applications for example in muscle retraining or in the treatment of rheumatic ailments. <IMAGE>
