PURPOSE:To prevent irregular change of properties of a laser medium, irregular temperature distribution, generated by introducing an irregular exciting light to the medium, to obtain a laser light having a uniform intensity distribution in a solid state laser. CONSTITUTION:An outer wall reflecting surface 3 for reflecting an exciting light emitted from a lamp 4 is formed on an outer wall of a laser medium protective tube 6, an outer wall reflecting surface 3 is formed on the outer wall of the tube 6, an inner wall reflecting surface 7 is formed on the inner wall of the tube 6, an exciting light emitted from the lamp 4 is uniformly introduced to the surface of a laser medium 5, irregular change of properties of the medium 5 is prevented, and a laser light having a uniform intensity distribution is obtained. |
