PURPOSE:To realize an equipment for driving a motor, which has a excellent characteristic that it is capable of preventing a transistor from breaking down, by using the transistor, which electrifies the driving coil of the motor, so as to leave a sufficient margin to the limitations of the safely operable region of the transistor, as well as using it for accelerating or decelerating the motor quickly, in the driving of the motor used for various electric apparatuses. CONSTITUTION:An equipment for driving a motor, wherein provided are a motor 1, a controlling means 2 which outputs the control signal for accelerating or decelerating the motor 1, a driving means 3 for feeding a driving current to the motor 1 based on the output signal of the controlling means 2, and a current limiting means 4 for limiting the maximum driving current of the motor 1, which so acts that the maximum driving current when decelerating the motor 1 is smaller than the one when accelerating the motor 1. |
