The swivel mirror (1) is fixed to a backing (2) between which the bottom of the mirror is a height-adjustable link movable along a guide-rail. A pair of arms (8) is connected to the mirror and the backing and has fixed links (10, 12). Between the backing and the pair of arms is a mechanical compression spring (16) or gas compression spring compensating for the mirror's weight. The spring is attached to the middle of a cross-bar (14) joining the pair of arms. The doors of the bathroom cabinet (3) above which there is a light (4, 5) forms the back (1) of the swivel mirror. ADVANTAGE - The mirror, preferably fixed to the door of a bathroom cabinet, can be altered in position, for instance for wheel-chair occupants in hospitals or old people's homes, and has a spring, pair of arms of fixed links.
