PURPOSE:To provide an adjusting method for light intensity in which the intensity of laser light, etc., can be stably, accurately, and easily adjusted at a high responding speed. CONSTITUTION:A galvanometer type shutter 2 is arranged on an optical path L, the galvanometer type shutter 2 is opened and closed in a short cycle, and also the light intensity is adjusted by adjusting the opening time of the shutter 2 in terms of length. The opening time per unit time is adjusted in terms of length on the opening and closing cycle of the shutter 2, so that the shutter transmitted light quantity per unit time is increased and decreased, and the light intensity is adjusted. Since the galvanometer type shutter is excellent in high-speed responding performance, the light intensity of the laser light beam, etc., oscillated from a laser oscillator 1 can be stably, accurately, and rapidly adjusted. |
