PURPOSE:To play an accompaniment having a natural note property even when a part difficult to judge the note property is included in code progression in a device in which the accompaniment is played based on code progression input. CONSTITUTION:A note property judging unit includes a function judging part judging the function of each code of code progression (route-type expression code row). An accompaniment, supporting a specific note property based on the combination of the function, type, and route of a code, is formed as long as the code continues with a first accompaniment forming unit 190 acting on a code whose function can be specified with the function judging part. A second accompaniment forming unit 290 acts on a code, whose function can not be specified with the function judging part, to form an accompaniment, having the possibility of plural note properties, based on the combination of the type and route of a code. |
