PURPOSE:To obtain a highly efficient solar generating apparatus by attaching airtightly a solar battery formed in a flat panel shape to a skirt-like body of a Japanese roof tile made of light-transmissive transparent glass, CONSTITUTION:A solar generating apparatus is constructed by attaching a solar battery 3 formed in a flat panel shape to a skirt-like body 2 of a Japanese roof tile 1 having a curved surface. The Japanese roof tile 1 is made of a light- transmissive material and is formed approximately 30cm in length and breadth, approximately 6cm in height and approximately 1cm in thickness. The solar battery 3 is made of a flat glass substrate, of which surface is coated with a thin film made of amorphous silicon. The solar battery 3 is attached airtightly, employing caulking materials or the like, to the skirt-like body 2 of the Japanese roof tile 1. Thereby a highly reliable, highly efficient solar generating apparatus can be obtained. |
