VECTOR DATA/IMAGE DATA CONVERSION SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To effectively generate the image data on a line whose thickness is faithfully shown based on the vector data showing a circle having the thickness and an ellipse including a circular arc and an elliptic arc by producing the data showing the contour lines in the form of a table which contains the coordinate value of each of the points forming the contour of the ellipse. CONSTITUTION:The coordinates showing the outer and inner circumferences of the contour line of an ellipse are obtained the by a digital differential analysis with the ellipse table outer and inner circumference setting instructions 11 and 12. Then these coordinates are set into an ellipse table. The data set in the ellipse table are read out with an X coordinate table setting instruction 13 and the X coordinates corresponding to each Y coordinates are stored in an X coordinate table. Then the raster data are set based on the coordinates obtained from the X coordinate table with a raster data setting instruction 14. Then the areas are successively drawn between a pair of X coordinate points for each Y coordinates so as to obtain the image data where the inside of the contour line of the ellipse is filled.
