FLUORESCENT LAMP FIXTURE WITH INFRARED TYPE REMOTE CONTROL

PURPOSE:To suppress the factor for turbulence on normal signals resulting from reflex at the inner surface of a transparent cover by furnishing a signal receiver on a ring-shaped fluorescent lamp for one-lamp arrangement, and installing the photo-receiving part of this signal receiver facing down in a position outside of the lamp on the side approx. opposite the lamp base. CONSTITUTION:A photo-receiving part 7 of a signal receiver is installed facing down, to sense the infrared signal which is cast incident via a transparent cover 47. The installing position of the photo-receiving part 7 is outside of a ring-shaped fluorescent lamp 1 in its position approx. opposite the lamp base 2. This minimizes influence of the dosage of hop-in infrared rays from the lamp 1 which might be a factor of turbulence on the infrared remote control signal likely to occur when the photo-receiving part 7 is located far apart from the reflex light area on the cover 47 for the infrared rays generated by the lamp 1, which should preclude risk of malfunctions.
