PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge display panel driving method by which pseudo contour can be largely reduced. SOLUTION: Display anodes and the cathodes are respectively divided into (n) pieces of group (e.g. in the case of N=2, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b), and display cells 7 are divided into N pieces of group by combining this display anodes and cathodes divided into N pieces. The circuit is constituted so that each group of the display cells 7 are scanned N times by dividing one field into small fields of N pieces, and phases of scanning pulses in each group are made different by 1/N period. |
