The hub and brake assembly are secured in a bearing eye of the wheel rod (3), and held at the free end by a wheel nut (11). The axle shank is welded into the eye of the rod and a spacer bush (9) is placed between the bearing and the brake assembly (10), which is held against the shank by a toothed section (17).
