PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic recording head wherein its manufacture is easy and linearity of an electrode base plate in the longitudinal direction can be easily made highly precise and to provide its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording head is equipped with a head half body 4a composed by connecting four unit electrode base plate 1a having electrodes 2a formed at a specific pitch in an electrode arranging direction to be bonded to a side plate 3a, and a head half body 4b composed in the same way. Those head half bodies 4a, 4b are bonded to each other so that respective printed wiring boards 1a, 1b are positioned in the inside and the electrodes 2a, 2b are arranged zigzag in an insulated state. Since a width of each unit electrode substrate can be set optionally, the unit electrode comes to be easily formed. Further, total linearity can be made highly precise with the side plate. |
