PURPOSE:To provide a wall panel in which an air conditioner is assembled within a curtain-wall type wall panel of a building in such a way as it may easily be disassembled and a drain pipe installing work for the air conditioner at site is substantially reduced. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner 1 having a refrigerant compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor blower and an outdoor blower installed in a casing 2 is mounted on a lateral frame member 44 of a wall panel fixed to a floor 53 of a building and on an air conditioner supporting table 23 and assembled in a wall panel. When the air conditioner is mounted as described above, a drain water discharging boss pipe 17 projected from a bottom surface of the casing 2 of the air conditioner is inserted into an upper end of a drain water pipe 18 installed in the wall panel, and at the same time an annular packing placed between the casing 2 and an upper end of the piping 18 is compressed by a weight of the air conditioner so as to keep a sealing characteristic between both components. |
