PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp chromatograph by reducing the dead volume of an electrochemical reactor. CONSTITUTION:An acting electrode 8 composed of porous carbon is coated with insulating coating 10 excepting one end surface thereof and the exposed surface thereof is in contact with the conductive member 12 of a receiving case. An opposed electrode 16 is arranged on the side opposite to the acting electrode 8 through insulating packing 14. The opposed electrode 16 of an electrochemical reactor 6 and the opposed electrode 32 of an electrochemical reactor 4 are short-circuited by a lead wire 38 to be held to the same potential. The comparison electrode 34 of the electrochemical reactor 4 is also used as one for setting the potential of the acting electrode 8 and opposed electrode 16 of the electrochemical reactor 6. |
