PURPOSE:To easily record location information relating to a picked-up location together with a video image and year, month, day, time at a current location. CONSTITUTION:A GPS receiver 12 outputs position information such as altitude, latitude, longitude of reception position and a time. An MPU 14 retrieves a district name stored in a map database 16 based on either or all of a name of pickup location, pickup year, month, day and pickup site time set by an operation section 18, fetches the location name and the year and date and time of the current point of location and gives them to a data display processing section 22. The information is fed to a video recording processing section 20 together with the pickup signal from a CCD pickup device 10 and the processing section 20 records the information onto a magnetic tape superimposingly. |
