The cylindrical outer rotor (2) surrounds and rotates synchronously with a parallel but eccentrically positioned inner rotor (1). The rotors (1, 2) are coupled by oscillating plates (4) mounted in cylindrical segments (3.1, 3.2) which allow linear reciprocating movement. During rotation working chambers are formed which consist of segments permitting thermal expansion, cooling and lubrication by means of a medium passing through an axial drilling (1.2) and radial ducts (1.3) in the inner rotor (1) and also via the side cover plate, through ducts in the plates (4.1) and outer rotor (2.31) to a cooling tank. From here it is pumped back to the inner rotor drilling (1.2). The side cover plate forms a seal against the rotor through pressure exerted by the working medium or a pump.
