PURPOSE:To enable a tire to move in a toe-in direction when braked, and improve the stability of a vehicle only via a change in the characteristics of a suspension bush. CONSTITUTION:A suspension bush 1 is constituted of an inner cylinder 2, an outer cylinder 6 forming a part of a suspension ring 5 and bush rubber 4. Furthermore, a cylindrical collar 3 having higher rigidity than the rubber 4 is coupled to the outer surface of the inner cylinder 2 at a position offset from a pivotal point (e). When a braking force is applied, therefore, a suspension link 5 is displaced, and a pinching force acts on the suspension bush 1. Then, the section (b) in the illustration is subjected to less deformation, due to the existence of the collar section 3 and less flexibility than the section (c). As a result, the pivotal point (e) shifts in a vertical direction with a bush axial line A-A', thereby causing an actual change in the length of the suspension link 5. |
