PURPOSE:To alleviate abrupt variation of load by providing a buffer load unit, e.g. an electric water heater or an air heater, in an independently operating private power generating system or a private power generating system combined with a purchase power system thereby absorbing the power. CONSTITUTION:A private power generating system A is operated independently or in combination with a utility system I to feed power facilities (a)-(g) and a buffer load D with power. A controller C1 detects currents flowing through the power facilities (a)-(g) through a CTbeta and a current flowing through the buffer load D through a CTgamma and controls them so that the sum thereof will be constant. Fluid W2 to be fed from the power generating system A to a waste heat absorbing facility F can also be fed to the buffer load D. The buffer load D comprises a medium W1 such as an electric water heater or an air heater and a controller C2 controls the flow rate of the medium W1 through a regulation valve E. Temperature of heated medium W1 is detected through a sensor 8 and fed to the controller C2. CTalpha1 monitors the amount of generated power and a CTalpha2 monitors the amount of purchased power. According to the invention, abrupt variation of load is alleviated. |
