PURPOSE:To control the temp. coefficient of resonance frequency to a low value in the vicinity of zero while maintaining relative dielectric constant and no-load Q at values in the ranges of practical characteristics, respectively, by adjusting TiO2/BaO by mole and the additive quantity of Ta2O5 respectively. CONSTITUTION:This microwave dielectric porcelain composition consists of barium oxide and titanium oxide. Further, this composition is prepared by providing, as a principal component, a composition where (x) is 3.7 to 4.2 when its compositional formula is represented by BaO.xTiO2 and additively incorporating, as an accessory component, Ta2O5 by 3-10 pts.wt. in 100 pts.wt. of the principal component. In this porcelain composition, the temp. coefficient (gammaf) of resonance frequency can be arbitrarily controlled to the desired value on the plus side or minus side with zero between by adjusting TiO2/BaO by mole and the additive quantity of Ta2O5, respectively. |
