<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the raising of a surface after polishing by forming a releasable resin layer on the surface of a pipy core material by baking, polishing the layer, heating the layer at a fixed temperature and baking the layer again when a heating roller proper to the fixing device of an electrophotographic device is manufactured. CONSTITUTION:When a heating roller 14 used for a fixing device is manufactured, a releasable resin layer 20 mainly comprising a PFA(perfluoroalcoxy) resin is coating-formed on the surface of a pipy mandrel 19 made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, a surface of which is blast-treated by typical grains or amorphous grains first. The surface of the releasable resin layer 20 after baking is polished to Rz (mean roughness of ten points) 2mum or less. The mandrel 19, to which the releasable resin layer 20 is coated and formed, is heated until the temperature of the mandrel reaches 340-400 deg.C, and the mandrel is baked again for five or twenty min. Accordingly, the magnitude of the (negative) charges of the heating roller can be inhibited at a small value.</p> |
